Itosu-kai Karatedo Ireland

IKKI attended the Itosu-ryu Karatedo International Federation International Championships in Kolding, Denmark, August 2022.

Ireland entered 42 competitors into the Championships taking part in a total of 118 events.
The team took 28 medals in total. Sensei Leo Mulvany, team manager pays tribute to all the competitors for presenting themselves and participating at such a high level. Individual and team performances were exceptional and huge credit must go to our club Sensei’s and IKKI coaches in attendance: Claire Harte, Kevin Casey and Tony Dolphin and of course our committed parents who made it all possible especially for younger IKKI competitors.

The tournament facilities were excellent and professionally run from start to finish while creating a warm and friendly athmosphere for all attendees.
