IKKI Loughrea

Kevin Casey, 5th Dan Karatedo, 5th Dan Kobudo is the head instructor of Itosu-kai Karatedo Loughrea. The Loughrea Dojo wasestablished in 1979. Kevin Sensei has trained in Ireland, Italy and in Toronto, Canada with Shihan Kei Tsumura, Chief Instructor of Shito-ryu Itosu-kai Canada and has competed in the Canadian National Championships, Irish National Championships & at World Championship Level (Osaka, Japan in 2013). He has also instructed at International level in Kobudo.
Sensei Kevin has many instructors in the Loughrea club such as Joe Gunter (Assistant Coach), Elsie Halpin, Lisa Casey, Ollie Fallon, Iggy Dolan and many more. Kevin teaches traditional Japanese-Okinawan Karate and Kobudo (ancient Japaneseweaponary) as well as Sport Karate.
Sensei Kevin is the Itosu-kai Karatedo Ireland kumite squad coach and was the ONAKAI (NGB for karate in Ireland) Kumite Connacht Coach from 2009-2011.
